This is a role within the Hardware Verification department with the responsibility to lead the Hardware Verification tasks for new products.  The candidate must have a strong quality background and experience leading verification/validation activities.  Strong planning skills and experience with international standards are a must.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the subsystem verification plan for new hardware products.  The plan parses the hardware subsystem requirements into verification tests and provides a schedule estimate for the verification task.
  • Manage the development of the hardware verification test specifications and test implementation (both software and hardware required to execute the verification plan/tests).
  • Manage the execution of the hardware subsystem verification per the verification plan.
  • Lead the development/documentation of the hardware subsystem verification with the release of appropriate verification test reports.
  • Ensure the closure/completion of the hardware subsystem verification per the project plan/schedule developed by the Project Manager.
  • Support the Project Manager with appropriate verification documentation for the development milestones.
  • Periodically review the Hardware Verification department’s procedures and requirements with the goal of continuously improving the process to focus on quality and improved efficiency.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in engineering in the field of Electrical or Biomedical engineering.
  • Strong focus on quality
  • Four years of experience leading product verification/validation.
  • Experience verifying products to international standards (ISO, IEC, EN,  …)
  • Strong analytical skills and well-schooled in the application and use of computers, analysis and synthesis tools.
  • Strong communication skills including both verbal and writing skills.
  • Strong team player and individual contributor.
 
Other Highly Desired Qualifications:
  • C# or other OOP language experience.
  • Experience in the medical device industry, preferably in the implantable device industry.
  • Background in Cardiovascular Physiology and Biology to understand end application environment.
