Seeking a Laboratory Manager (CLS) to oversee the day to day operations of its industry leading State of California and CLIA licensed drug testing laboratory. 
  • Provide technical oversight and manage the QC/QA/QI lab systems to ensure compliance with CLIA, State of California and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and manage the technical licensed and unlicensed laboratory staff.
  • Write, maintain, and update the SOP manual.
  • Manage training and competence evaluation of licensed and unlicensed lab staff.
  • Maintain all applicable state and federal laboratory licenses and certificates and lead interactions with regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely reporting of all laboratory testing results.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in biological or physical sciences.
  • State of California Clinical Lab Scientist or Toxicology Limited License
  • 7 years’ experience as a lab supervisor or manager of a CLIA/State of California licensed clinical laboratory.
  • Prior experience with routine urine drug testing.
  • Knowledge of the theory and practice of immunoassay, GC/MS, and LC/MS/MS instrumentation and methods, and prevailing CLIA/State of California clinical laboratory regulatory requirements is required
  • Strong leadership, communication and written skills.
