Senior Director ERP to serve as the head of ERP program management and business engagement.  This Leader will design, develop and manage all cross-functional deliverables and stakeholder commitments required to support and maintain the Oracle EBS platform.  This is a strategic role in the company and requires a leader that can manage a diverse set of business partners and lead teams without direct authority.
 
This leader will report to the Vice President of IT and be the senior client services director liasing with senior vice presidents and  directors in Finance, Manufacturing, Commercial, as well as developers and operation specialist within IT, and expected to jointly develop strategies as they relate to the ERP investment roadmap.  This senior director will influence and support a business strategy across the commercial, manufacturing, and research and development organizations globally.  To be effective in this role, he/she must partner with regional and functional leaders to understand individual country and regional business drivers, and then integrate these requirements into the global strategy as it is developed.  This leader should have the business acumen and communication skills to shape, articulate and execute a cohesive ERP business strategy.
 
In addition, he/she will partner with IT to implement and optimize the appropriate solutions for the european and emerging markets while meeting the needs of each country.  This senior director will act as a trusted advisor to local line management regarding technology enablement and innovation opportunities and will partner with IT directors in optimizing ERP and identifying and implementing appropriate enhancement or new technologies.
 
  • Lead ERP governance
  • Develop ERP work plans
  • Develop and Manage the ERP Roadmap to best support the business
    • Geographic expansion
    • Prioritization of change requests
    • The ERP lifecycle plan
  • Serve as the liaison between business process owners, IT and business operations to insure alignment.
  • Development of medium and long term strategic plan for ERP systems
  • Lead business analysis efforts for new ERP functionality
  • Coordinate complex projects across multiple departments
 
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
  • Experience with large-scale Oracle EBS / ERP implementations in high-growth companies with manufacturing and a strong track record in delivering complex projects
  • Hands on experience with top-tier ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS within the Life Sciences Industry and SAP would be a bonus
  • Implementation experience with order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, manufacturing, and international business structures
  • Sarbanes/Oxley and general regulatory processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business Process Management or related discipline or equivalent number of years of work experience
  • Track record working in a fast paced, highly iterative environment
 
 
 
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
  • Overall 15+ years of experience with 10+ years in Oracle EBS (preferred) or SAP/ERP applications. Excellent collaboration, business engagement and program management skills with detailed understanding
  • of SDLC methodologies, with ability to hold self and project resources accountable for deliverables
