We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Senior Clinical Research Software Engineer to perform professional level project activities for software systems designed to store and manage data for clinical studies. Assignments may include but are not limited to, collecting business requirements, designing and developing study databases and clinical data applications, creating data models, conducting code review, and reviewing/writing of technical documentation.   Prior work experience as a senior level .NET developer, with mobile experience is desired.

Job Duties
  • Working with active directory in either a development or administrative environment
  • Integrating software with enterprise level systems
  • Mentoring and teaching other team members
  • Building clinical trial databases using Oracle Clinical or equivalent preferred
  • Building/customizing Clinical Trial Management Applications preferred
  • Application installation and troubleshooting with Basic Windows Desktop Administration
  • Windows Server Administration including installation of server roles, log management and troubleshooting
  • Support Windows Server Security practices in an enterprise environment including computer network authenticating protocols such as Kerberos
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 6-8 years of development experience with ASP.NET
  • 6-8 years of database modeling/design experience using SQL 
  • 6-8 years of software infrastructure support, including software configuration and release management
  • 1-3 years of leading software architecture and design experience
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases and Rapid Development Frameworks
  • Experience with software development design patterns and methodologies including OOAD and MVC
  • Experience with HTML5 and JavaScript Libraries such as Knockout, Angular and Kendo UI preferred
  • Experience with Mobile Application Development frameworks such as xCode, Android NDK, Xamarin and PhoneGap preferred
  • A working familiarity with Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, and Access
  • Experience with Unix/Linux (*NIX) platforms
Desired Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of Clinical Trial Management Process preferred
  • Basic understanding of human physiology or any prior involvement with medical field preferred
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
